HOW DOES THE ECOWASH HCMC WASHING PROCESS WORK?

For an industrial laundry factory to operate effectively, it is necessary to develop a detailed and clear washing process to meet the quality standards of fabrics after washing.

At EcoWash HCMC, the washing process is divided into two types, the normal washing process and the isolated fabric washing process with strict standards, ensuring cleanliness and safety.

Normal washing process

Step 1: Gather

After confirming the customer's requested information, the shipping staff will arrive at the provided receiving location at the agreed time. During the collection process, fabrics will be pre-sorted to separate potentially infectious and non-infectious items.

  • Green bags contain non-infectious fabrics.
  • Red bag contains potentially infectious fabrics.

In addition, during the collection process, EcoWash HCMC staff always comply with safety regulations when lifting heavy objects, do not drag fabrics, and use separate trolleys for transportation.

Step 2: Delivery to the factory

After completing the collection process, the fabric will be transported to the factory by a separate pickup truck. Fabrics are gathered in a separate area of the factory and sprayed with disinfectant to ensure safety and avoid cross-contamination on fabrics.

Step 3: Classify

This is the most important stage because it directly affects the quality, the washing program and other related factors such as temperature, time, and washing chemicals. Depending on the material, color, and condition of the fabric, it is divided into two types: non-infectious and potentially infectious. Therefore, the laundry room staff will conduct the selection of washing methods and chemicals suitable for each type of fabric.

Step 4: Wash as usual

For non-infectious fabrics, EcoWash HCMC uses oxygen-based detergents at a temperature of 50 - 70 degrees. Oxygen-based detergents are cleaning agents and are particularly useful in removing stains and brightening fabrics. In addition, this detergent can also remove odours and has a bactericidal effect. It is completely soluble in water and absolutely safe for users.

Step 5: Drying

After completing the washing process, the fabric will be transferred to the press drill to drain the water and dry for the first time. After that, employees will be transferred to the drying area for towels or ironing - rolling machines for bed linen, and pillowcases. With precisely adjusted centrifugal force, it ensures the moisture content of the fabric while drying.

Step 6: Check the quality

Check the quality after the drying process is completed, ensuring the criteria for brightness, cleanliness, and condition of the fabric. In the event of errors such as thread loosening, or fraying during washing, it will be corrected free of charge before packing. Or notify the Customer to have a suitable solution if the condition of the fabric is difficult to fix or beyond the control of EcoWash HCMC.

Step 7: Ironing and packing

After the fabric meets the quality requirements, it will be delivered to the ironing area. At EcoWash HCMC, we are equipped with different machines to support the ironing process, such as: 3-axis automatic ironing and folding machine, collar-sleeve ironing robot, automatic shirt ironing machine, etc.

After the fabric has been straightened, it will be packed and stored cleanly and carefully. Separate the dirty handling area and the clean storage area. Do not let clean items come into contact with the floor.

Step 8: Distribution

Deliver the desired fabric to the customer within the time frame specified. At EcoWash HCMC, the trucks that receive dirty linen and deliver clean linen are separated, preventing cross-contamination, and ensuring the health of users.

Isolated fabric washing process

Similar to normal washing, the process of washing isolated fabrics is only different in the washing stage. Instead of using oxygen-based detergents with a temperature of 50 - 70 degrees, washing isolated fabrics will have an oxygen concentration of 1 - 3% at a temperature of 70 - 90 degrees. Ensure complete cleaning and disinfection during washing. In addition, in the drying process, a high temperature will be used to completely kill the remaining bacteria on the fabric surface. After completing the stages, the fabric will be delivered to the customer at the specified time.
