Structure

  • Burner: the part of the boiler that provides the heat source to boil the water for the system.
  • Combustion chamber: the part with high temperature. During the combustion process, the heat from here will be directed to the heat exchanger.
  • Heat exchanger: this device is responsible for transferring heat from the burner to the water source without direct contact.
  • Supply line: used in hydronic heating systems to help deliver boiled water or hot steam to locations where it needs to be distributed.
  • Return line: after the water or steam cools back to the state of water, it will be returned to the boiler for heating again.
  • Firebox: where the material is exposed to the air to create a fire.
  • Refractory materials: materials used to fill the gaps around the firebox, ensuring that the fire does not escape from the firebox.
  • Circulation pump: the part that pushes water or hot steam from the boiler system through the heat distribution parts of the system.

The working principle of the steam boiler system

The operation of industrial boilers is mainly based on the process of generating heat from burning fuel. The water is transported and circulated through the water tank and is continuously pumped into the boiler unit. The combustion chamber is responsible for burning fuel until the heat source reaches 1600 - 2000 degrees Celsius. Then the water evaporates to form hot steam. The hot steam will be used as energy for the exchangers and washing machine, ironing, drying... After the heat exchange or heating process, the hot steam will lose energy and condense into a liquid form, then the cold water will be returned to the water supply tank to be heated again.
